The Centre

The facilities at the Veterinary Services Centre, Harper Adams University, have been developed with the aim of providing both the patient and client with an environment and atmosphere that will enhance the rehabilitation process. Many of the conditions treated will entail long term therapy and it is an important part of the process to provide a relaxed, peaceful environment to achieve good results. We have light, spacious consulting rooms and are keen that animals are as relaxed as possible in the environment.

Fundamental to our rehabilitation facility is the hydrotherapy unit which contains an aquatic treadmill and a pool. The treadmill in particular is often a key component in many animals rehabilitation programme, however, each animal has a treatment programme designed by our qualified veterinary physiotherapists to suit their individual needs. This programme will be discussed with you before treatment begins.
